I am so lucky to be riding with such a great group of gals. We put this team together in 2008 and have come a long way. I started riding drill in the beginning of 2006, I loved it then and I love it even more today. I am very excited at the opportunities our team has ahead of us. As a new team, we do have a lot to learn but so much to strive for! We are committed to riding for a cure, there’s one out there, we know it, we’re going to help push to find it!

Hi, my name is Dee Rowe and I’m proud to be a part of this team of great riders and people who truly care about the cause we ride for. This is my first experience riding in drill and also with a team.
I’m currently riding Patience who is owned by Judy Gorshe another team member, many thanks to her!

Hi, I'm Kathy Cunnane and this is my quarter horse Curly. Curly and I have been working together for the past nine years. Curly and I are in our first year of drill riding, and we love it! I think Curly will progress to an awesome drill partner. When we are not drill riding, we are enjoying local trail rides and trips to Yosemite National park. Curly and I are looking forward to many more years of drill riding. The Western Star Drill team is a great bunch of women who enjoy riding and having fun. I am proud to be riding to help support the fight against breast cancer.

I am the senior rider on the drill team and I am having a blast. I rode on the Cross Ranch Drill Team several years ago out of Pescadero, CA. so this is my second team to have the privilege of riding on and the friendships you establish from being together so much is awesome. I have 3 kids and 6 grandkids, some of who ride and some don’t My grandkids affectionately call me GMA Horsey.
My favorites things to do are, of course riding my horse and spend time with my grandkids.
